Five years ago St James started a number of new community facing initiatives and planted a children’s ministry on Sunday mornings. These initiatives have resulted in a significant increase in worship attendance, membership, and culture change in the church. Now, a group of the children from our Sunday programme have reached an age where we need to create a new space for youth to relate, create and grow together. At present there are a group of 8-10 intermediate aged young people who are ready to be the first members of this ministry – we hope and trust that this group will grow over time. The group has more boys than girls currently, so we know we need someone who is confident in leading an active bunch of go-getters!
