The Awhitu Presbyterian Camp is a rustic camp situated in the rolling hills on the edge of the Manukau Harbour. Enjoy walks to the beach, and Awhitu Regional Park (where there is a safe golden sand beach, Brook Homestead and bush reserves). Golf course, boat launching ramp and good fishing is available nearby, and a local shop and service station at Matakawau. Hamilton’s Gap on the West Coast is a 10-minute drive away.
The camp is ideal for family groups, youth groups and small church groups.
The campsite is owned by the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand under the umbrella of the Northern Presbytery,

- Kitchens—2: comprising of 3 x stoves, 2 x microwaves, 3 x refrigerators, freezer, storage space, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, and BBQ.

$12.50 per adult per night (2 night min)
$7.50 per child per night (2-17)
Plus non-refundable deposit of $20
$75 per night minimum charge
Fees will be increased from 1st February 2018 to $8.50 per child per night, and $13.50 per adult per night and the non-refundable booking fee will increase to $40.
