St. Barnabas Church (Plimmerton Presbyterian Parish) is looking for a full-time staff member to focus on two specific and related areas of ministry on a 50/50 basis of time allocation, namely:

Massey-Riverhead Presbyterian Church, a multi-cultural evangelical church on the growing northwest edge of Auckland, is currently needing to strengthen its staff team in the following three areas: youth, junior youth, and social media. All of these are part-time positions, but could possibly be combined, or may be combined with study or other work. The persons we seek are deeply committed Christian believers with excellent biblical understanding, are passionate about the gospel, are gifted in helping people come to faith and grow as followers of Christ, are warmly relational, have good people skills, communicate well, are team-players, are self-motivated, and are able to inspire and build. Pastoral care, evangelism, discipleship and teaching among youth (age 14+). Co-ordination of senior youth work, working with a team of voluntary leaders. The two main events are the Friday Night youth group and the Sunday morning “Disciples”.
Teaching and pastoral care among junior youth (ages 11-14). Main event is on Sunday morning. (The appointee in this role may possibly also have a leadership role with ICONZ or ICONZ 4 Girlz).
3.Social Media co-ordinator:
Working on a variety of platforms ranging from social media to email marketing, media distribution to online community management, all for the purposes of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and helping build the church.
Chartwell Cooperating Parish
Chartwell Cooperating Church is seeking a Youth Worker for 10 hours a week to assist with a varied Youth programme.

The Youth Worker position aims to sustain and develop work amongst our youth and enable ministry and mission to take place within Chartwell Cooperating Church Parish.
Hours of work
10 hours per week (minimum). This is a fixed-term contract for six months, owing to funding availability, with the expectation of a renewed contract as further funding becomes available.

Youth South West Trust is seeking to appoint a Youth Director to lead and manage youth work, across three sites of Hope Presbyterian Church and beyond into the communities that make up South West Christchurch. The leader will coordinate the team of youth workers and a large team of volunteers. This is a full-time role reporting to the Hope Youth Trust Board and the Senior Pastor. The Youth Director is a member of the Core Leadership Team of Hope Presbyterian that is led by the Senior Pastor.
We need a Director who has strengths, experience and evidence of competencies in the following areas: visionary leadership, administration, developing a coherent and effective youth strategy, managing a cohesive and effective team, connecting with community and business leaders, maintaining effective key relationships. Experience in the funding and grants applications process would be desirable.
We are looking for a person who is sustained by a deep personal Christian faith, who has a heart for the empowerment of youth, an empathy for those who work with youth, and who will develop and maintain spiritual and personal disciplines and a work – life balance that contributes to long term, sustainable ministry.
It is expected that the Director would commit to worshipping within the Hope context.

Do you have a heart for what God can do among youth, and among those at the edges of society? Island Bay Presbyterian has a joint Youth Pastor/Youth Work position for 14-16 hours a week working in with a team of staff and volunteers to disciple our church youth, but with the main focus on being part of our community development project in local supported housing complexes. We are seeking someone who can work alone and with others, who can plan activities and relate well to teens and tweens, who can be a regular presence in our faith community, and who is comfortable with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
